Candy is a biologist, she has a PhD in neuroscience and a Master of Science in Technology Commercialization. For 13 years she has been helping researchers and inventors to turn their inventions into innovations, either by placing their products and services in the productive sector or helping them to create their startups. In 2017 she won the national entrepreneur award being the CEO of Agrobioteg, an innovation park in which she managed to set up 27 biotechnology companies.

She has created 3 science and technology based incubation programs through which more than 150 entrepreneurship teams have passed. She participates as an evaluator and as a mentor in several programs focused on innovation and technological development and mentors entrepreneurs in different technology-based incubation programs.

She has worked with different universities and research centers in different parts of the world and now she is the City Manager of Ironhack, a start up that helps people to make a radical change in their lives and join the Tech world, to make Mexico a more competitive country.
